Codilar is hiring for the role of Frontend Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to develop consumer-driven, user-integrated e-commerce websites.
• Write neat, semantic, concise, indented, and thoroughly commented code for HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Help prepare production documents (Photoshop templates, etc.) and translate PSDs into valid, semantic HTML templates with the help of tech leads and designers.
• Assist back-end developers with effective implementation of front-end templates, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Prepare front-end templates to provide progressive enhancement for modern browsers, and graceful degradation for older browsers, within technical specifications and whenever possible.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in responsive web development
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Experience in AEM
• Proficient understanding of jQuery or other Javascript libraries
• A basic understanding of CSS pre-processing frameworks such as LESS / SASS is a plus
• Understanding of tools such as grunt/gulp / webpack is an added advantage
• Experience in Angular, React, or Vue is a plus
• Good understanding of user interactions, cross-browser, and modern web practices
• Love for optimizing front-end experience
• Knowledge of GIT preferred
• Understanding of Agile methodology and SCRUM is an added advantage
