Barclays is hiring for the role of Fraud Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The Fraud Exception Process Analyst is responsible for reviewing exception reports for the lines of business within Fraud: Mitigating risk by working reports and contacting customers when necessary
• Where applicable, all risk events (incidents) or control failures are to be escalated, investigated, reported, and fixed at the root cause to prevent reoccurrence
• Maintain subject matter expertise on processes identified as high risk/high impact. This knowledge is reflected in the production of accurate and consistent metrics, recommendations, and coaching
• Understand the appropriate Policies and standards applicable to the role through reading the Code of Conduct and other training allocated

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate from a reputed and listed institute
• Understanding of Association requirements pertaining to charge-back rights & KYC knowledge
• Previous Fraud/Merchant Dispute Operations experience
• Attention to detail, understanding the importance of accuracy and responsiveness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in utilizing a PC
• Able to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Enthusiastic, customer solution-focused
• Experience in providing presentations/public speaking
• Experience/training in producing/reviewing analytical products
• Proficiency in Word processing/WordPerfect/Microsoft Excel
• Excellent judgment, professionalism, and leadership
• Excellent verbal communication skills; able to deliver feedback effectively and express thoughts concisely
• Strong communicator amongst team members
