Ferns & Petals is hiring for the role of Floral Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Design and create floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and event installations for various occasions such as weddings, festivals, and corporate events.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand design briefs and deliver customized floral concepts.
• Source, condition, and maintain flowers and foliage to ensure freshness and quality.
• Stay updated with floral trends, color palettes, and seasonal availability.
• Assist in visual merchandising and ensure the display area reflects brand aesthetics.
• Manage inventory of floral supplies and support vendor coordination when required.
• Ensure timely delivery and setup of floral décor for events and client orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the floral workspace.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar creative role.
• Strong sense of color, composition, and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of flower care, conditioning, and handling techniques.
• Ability to work creatively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak festive seasons.
• A diploma or certification in Floral Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus
