Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Be responsible for requirements definition, design, implementation, and documentation of the platform
• Apply creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment
• Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes
• Be capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs
• Provide advice in technical/operational domain of specialization
• Apply discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to Lenovo

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar degree or related software equivalent experience
• Hands-on firmware development in C and C++
• Knowledge and experience in protocols and technology related to BMC (IPMI, I2C, SPI, RedFish, REST, OS Internals, etc.)
• Knowledge of Software development processes, working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-functional teams
• Strong analytical and debug methodology skills expected
• Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives
• Capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs
