Broadcom is hiring for the role of Firmware Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop, maintain, and expand customized firmware solutions for major cloud providers.
- Optimize code for embedded firmware running on hardware accelerators, prioritizing performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with a distributed development team across multiple sites and time zones.
- Work onsite in customer labs, interacting directly with technical contacts on requirements, new features, and troubleshooting.
- Create and execute test plans for ASICs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in software and firmware development for storage, networking, or security products.
- Proven track record in embedded software and/or firmware development.
- Strong background in network routing and switching protocols.
- Experience in embedded RTOS such as Nucleus/VxWorks, or Linaro.
- Familiarity with hypervisor virtualization concepts, including virtual machines IOMMU address translation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
