Grant Thorton is hiring for the role of FinOps Analyst!!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Support client-facing teams with project management, invoicing, and budget tracking for efficient engagement.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity in the Opportunity Pipeline (CRM) with sales and ECS teams.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and insights to aid leadership in understanding trends, risks, and projections.
- Collaborate with finance teams for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings.
- Promote best practices and process standardization across regions and solutions.
- Coordinate with ICS functions to ensure accurate KPI and profitability tracking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; experience in the professional services industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of business operations with the ability to align operations with business goals.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communicator across all levels of the professional team.
- Proactive in identifying potential obstacles and ensuring accurate, timely project completion.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality work.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and occasionally travel to other office locations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI); SharePoint skills are a plus.
- Strong client service mindset, with an understanding of the business from both practitioner and operational perspectives.
