Macquarie Group is hiring for the role of Financial Planning Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage the recoveries process and ensure the integrity of monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various Operations teams to support ad hoc queries.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Provide insightful financial analyses to support effective management decision-making.
• Demonstrate a strong risk mindset by identifying budget variances and potential issues.

Requirements:

• CA qualification with 0–2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Prior exposure to financial accounting and statutory reporting, preferably in the banking and financial services industry.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills across cultures and locations.
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity or hands-on knowledge of technology enablement tools such as: Apptio, Power BI, PeopleSoft GL, TM1
• Ability to implement initiatives focused on automation and operational excellence is an added advantage.
