Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst Job in Hyderabad at Darwinbox

Darwinbox is hiring for the role of Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive mission-critical financial reporting, analysis and business partnering activities
• Drive financial close and reporting processes in partnership with business, commercial, and accounting teams
• Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition/expense reporting / capex and cash reporting by working closely with commercial and accounting teams to make sure data is accurately captured and reported in line with set guidelines. Working with the accounting team on accruals as needed
• Closely tracking variances from operating plans and forecasts; by reviewing the monthly close financial statements with the accounting team and business partners
• Ensure high-quality operating plans and forecasts minimizing variances of actuals from plan. This includes tracking of the close process and keeping stakeholders updated of any gaps vs expected forecasts
• Support the FP&A organization through end-to-end finance transformation – drive standardization and automation of reporting across the organization

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in accounting/finance, CA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• At least 2-4 years of Finance/FP&A/accounting/ reporting experience across revenue, expense, cash or capex
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
• Experience with analytics tools such as, Power BI, etc.
• Sound fundamentals on financial accounting, analytical ability
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style, attention to detail, effective communicator
• Ability to organize multiple responsibilities and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner while adapting to changes in priorities
• Ability to influence and strategically partner with individuals of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the organization
• Ability to business partner and communicate with non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately
