Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst Internship in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB Group is hiring for the role of Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conducting analysis of business performance versus plan and forecast to support decision-making processes
• Providing insights into key business drivers, identifying financial trends, preparing analysis for various scenarios and the overall impact to the Functions
• Performing closing activities (i.e. execute charge outs, process closing entries) and preparing reports for the respective functions
• Preparing presentations to communicate financial insights to stakeholders and generating ad hoc reports as per function’s request. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and financial professionals in Divisions, Countries and Functions to gather financial data, analyzing drivers of financial performance, addressing the queries and ensuring accuracy
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and performance optimization by developing automated solutions, standardization of reports and coordination of information requirements
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations within your area of responsibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
• 2 to 6 experience in Accounting and Finance, experience in FP&A
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with a thorough / detail-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO is an advantage
• Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries and self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
