Financial Planning Analyst Job in Gurgaon at PayU

PayU is hiring for the role of Financial Planning Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly MIS reports, including but not limited to income statements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
• Support in the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare variance analysis reports to highlight discrepancies between actual performance and budgeted/forecasted figures.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with department heads to gather input and validate assumptions.
• Maintain and update cost-tracking tools and databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting of expenses.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis activities.

Requirements:

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/MBA /Bcom with a strong academic background in FP&A, reporting, finance, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling tools; experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive process improvements.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
