Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Job in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB Group is hiring for the role of Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supporting analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions.
• Working with the management team to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends.
• Preparing financial modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact on the organization. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Validating the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviewing exceptions.
• Doing periodic analysis of financial statements and KPI's such as cash flow, balance sheet and Income statement.
• Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
• Performing controls within own area of responsibility as designed.
• Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Finance or Accounting, CMA/CA/MBA Finance preferred
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Accounting, allocation, and reporting of functional costs
• Planning and preparation of Budgets and 5Q Rolling Forecast
• Hands-on experience in SAP modules is preferred and experience with MS Office is a must
• Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills
• Process knowledge of back charging, third-party accounting, issuing invoices and tracking payment
