Financial Operations Specialist Internship in Bangalore at Alcon

Alcon is hiring for the role of Financial Operations Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure the amount that is posted in SAP via an automated job matches the bank totals
• Ensure the amount posted in SAP via an automated job matches the bank totals receive the Direct Debit application from the Customer and perform verification
• Ensure all kinds of customer ( Cash, Wire, etc)   payments are posted per the remit
• Create and approve payment runs for Alcon-initiated payments and refunds
• Run and monitor BOTs effectiveness, suggesting improvements when required
• Process offset requests from the Analysts and customers
• Assist with timely communication with regional & local AR teams/business functions as required
• Reversal and resetting requests received from the Analysts
• Ensure all activities are performed in a compliant way that supports RCM controls
• Provide audit support through data/documentation gathering

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience with an outsourcing or financial service organization
• Experience supporting shared service functions is preferred but not required
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement
• SOX knowledge and clarity about accounting internal controls/audit
• Excellent MS Office skills and SAP knowledge are a must
