NatWest is hiring for the role of Financial Crime Operations Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Perform due diligence checks for new customers and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory KYC and AML requirements.
  • Gather information from publicly available resources, customers, relationship managers, and internal systems to support compliance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML and KYC requirements, ensuring all checks are performed according to the latest regulations.
  • Examine due diligence documents and customer file information, ensuring it is adequate and up to date based on specific trigger events.
  • Perform reputational checks, including screenings for politically exposed persons (PEPs), adverse, and sanction checks.
  • Plan and prioritize workload effectively while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience working with KYC and AML processes and procedures.
  • Qualifications: Recognized qualifications in AML/KYC fields would be beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply attention to detail for error-free processing.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with relationship bankers, compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Learning Ability: Strong learning skills to keep up with regulatory changes and updates.
