Financial Crime Operations – Analyst Job in Bangalore at EY (Ernst & Young)

EY (Ernst & Young) is hiring for the role of Financial Crime Operations – Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support the compliance team in the financial crime space. You will help businesses comply with financial crime regulations and adhere to relevant client(s) policies and procedures related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in compliance and regulatory issues related to the Banking &Capital Markets industry and participants.
• Multi-task, learn on the job and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver exceptional client service.
• Work in a collaborative environment as well as independently based on the requirement.
• Understand the overall process and objective before beginning to work on a task.
• Escalate issues and problems, and articulate clearly to leadership, onshore, and client team.
• Demonstrate integrity, and respect and be able to work collaboratively with team members.
• Take ownership and initiatives to improve the status quo.

Requirements:

• 0-1 year of work experience in AML – KYC and/or Sanction Screening and/or transaction monitoring and/or regulatory reporting and/or banking etc.
• MBA with an emphasis in Risk, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related financial field
• Strong research skills and advanced skills in various Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of the banking industry, its products, and services
• Willing to work in shifts, if required
• Need to work from the office
• Willing to work on Indian Holidays as per requirement
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate as a team
• Willing to travel, within the country and internationally as required
• Good communication skills – written as well as verbal
• Possess energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead
