McKinsey & Company is hiring for the role of Financial Analyst (Tax)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work on accounting for world-wide tax provisions (current and deferred tax) in the consolidated US GAAP financial statements, preparing quarterly estimates of tax provisions for financial reporting and finalizing the tax provision true-ups
- Take care of the preparation of GL Accounts reconciliation for statutory reporting and audit process, including detailed review of Corporate Tax receivable and payable balances
- Support the process of compilation of book-to-tax differences for all firm entities for deferred and current tax computations
- Support the US statutory audit process related to global tax provision, finalizing the notes to accounts relevant to taxes, documentation of processes followed, and work performed, and other tax accounting-related tasks as assigned on a time-to-time basis
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with 6+ months experience (post-qualification)
- Accounting and reconciliation experience in a reputed MNC or an accounting firm is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident and collaborative team player
- Initiative and desire to excel
- Ability to work on the tax project with limited supervision
- Strong accounting and basic tax knowledge
- Ability to develop relationships and network
- Attention to detail; tenacious in following up
- Ability to handle large amounts of data
