3M is hiring for the role of Financial Analyst, APAC CBG - India!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Deliver sustainable operating plans and economic profit strategies. Includes being fully engaged in the operating plan, monthly rolling estimate (MRE), quarterly operating review (QOR), and support of the quarterly finance review (QFR) processes
• Become the right hand of the India Regional Business Leader in India with a complete understanding of the business models to influence decision-making processes
• Influencing strategic planning, business thinking, and negotiating strategies
• Providing financial justification for investment opportunities and special projects
• Drive constant portfolio analysis and put forward specific recommendations for actions
• Ensure that success is achieved through compliance with GAAP and 3M Financial standards
• Being involved with the quarterly reporting process in 3M India as a listed company

Requirements:

• Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in an MBA or graduate degree in finance
• Financial/accounting knowledge at or above the level needed to qualify for professional certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid business knowledge and acumen as well as a strategic thinking mindset
• Creative problem solving - the ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues
• Experience leading others and contributing to cross-functional teams
