Moody's Corporation is hiring for the role of Financial Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyzing the business trends; leading and aligning financial forecasts and long-range planning processes with our business leaders.
• Driving business value by providing financial and analytical counsel to facilitate decision-making around strategic business initiatives.
• Preparing monthly financial reports including variance and financial statement analysis.
• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and focus on accuracy, due to the confidential nature and large volume of global compensation and headcount management.
• Managing and consolidating regional information flow to support global business management.
• Identifying process commonalities to align similar activities, where possible Provide support for the annual compensation process and headcount management.
• Ensuring regular cadence of high-quality, timely, credible, and insightful reporting related to key business drivers. Liaising with global business partners to ensure management reporting is accurate and commentaries are relevant.
• Participating in special projects as assigned by Finance management along with managing ad-hoc tasks, as required.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills. Power BI Modeling skills required.
• 2 -4 years of relevant financial experience with planning and analysis. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary and experience with other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is required.
• Exposure to multidimensional reporting applications. (Hyperion Planning and Essbase a plus)
• Must have strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of workflows and proactive in process improvement.
