BCG is hiring for the role of Financial Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Track actual cost on the case in line with approved budgets and ensure zero overruns and no staffing leakages on the cases.
• Indulge immediately with case leadership and staffing and manage critical issues proactively and independently.
• Control tracking of the approved budget of the case and discount accruals on the project to ensure correct absorptions throughout the project tenure, avoiding last-minute surprises and adverse impacts on revenue.
• Maintain case hygiene by ensuring timely code closure within one month of team roll-off and cleaning up all WIP.
• Work towards helping the collection team in minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for the cases managed.
• Understand and track billing terms mentioned in the contract, ensuring timely raising of invoices on the cases managed.
• Track billing linked to the achievement of deliverables on the cases and maintain strong follow-up with case leadership, keeping a tab on progress.
• Closely track unbilled WIP and the exposure on the case, proactively addressing issues and taking corrective measures immediately.
• Track VBP exposure closely and highlight risks to management through VBP review calls.
• Serve as an effective business partner for case leadership, staying on top of every detail relating to case commercials and communicating them proactively to case leadership and finance leadership.
• Act as the single touch point for case leadership for any query relating to case budgets, billing, etc.
• Coordinate independently and quickly with staffing and case teams during staffing discussions, supporting budget simulations and advising from an available budget perspective.
• Support various internal finance stakeholders such as the Financial Planning team by providing necessary information relating to the managed project on a timely basis.
• Assist in MIS preparation, tracking discounts/investments on cases, and helping team members with monthly management reporting.
• Help the Team Leader and Manager of Commercial Finance in managing and rolling out various initiatives such as SAP Implementation in 2024.
• Lead automation initiatives and work with the team to improve project reporting accuracy and build process efficiency.

Requirements:

• Hold a postgraduate degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience or be a CA with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Have extensive experience working on Windows OS with strong hands-on experience in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Preferably have proficiency in desktop applications and Oracle or SAP financial systems.
• Possess knowledge in VBA, Alteryx, or Tableau as an added advantage.
