Deloitte is hiring for the role of Financial Advisory - Transaction Services - Financial Due Diligence - Assistant Manager!

Responsibilities:

• Developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers
• Assessing data accuracy and reasonableness and following up directly with clients and third parties appropriately to achieve necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies
• Performing financial analysis on data provided and arriving at conclusions/identifying issues.
• Interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of publicly available information on the target business preparation of quality deliverables (including Excel and PowerPoint documents) within agreed timescales, briefing the Manager/Deputy Manager accordingly
• Identifying key issues in the areas worked on and reporting them to the Manager/supervisor on a timely basis
• Working on a variety of deals ranging from large cross-border transactions across various industry verticals Establishing credibility with clients/targets as a representative of Deloitte Transaction Services
• Providing support/assistance for proposals/business development activities

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (qualified on first or second attempt preferred) with a good academic background and 0-2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience
• Transaction experience/exposure would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the Indian GAAP, knowledge of IFRS would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using MS-excel to process and analyze large volumes of data
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
