Finance Specialist Job in Noida at MetLife

Metlife is hiring for the role of Finance Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare derivative net investment income and market value projections – Compile data from various sources to prepare an attribution file of Current versus Prior data for GAAP and STAT reporting for all types of derivatives (caps, floors, swaps, swaptions, CDS).
• Prepare Asset holdings reports for all asset classes across all regions, enriching them with data from multiple sources.
•  Prepare Investment Asset and Net Investment Income projections.
• Prepare Realized Capital Gain/Loss reporting & IMR Projections.
• Prepare and update reports in the Projection Model platform, via Excel pivot tables and cube members. Provide Statutory NII feeds for the monthly projection process.
• Update Excel reports via Alteryx workflows that have been built, and revise Alteryx workflows, as deemed necessary.
• Perform sensitivity analysis.
• Should be able to handle large datasets of information.
• Should be able to gather, organize, and understand information from multiple Excel files.
• Knowledge of Derivatives and other various investment asset classes.
• Work closely with the US team to deliver results.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience in financial services accounting/reporting preferred.
• 3+ years experience in public and/or private company environments.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication & analytical skills are required. 
• The ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, solve problems, and ability to meet deadlines are required.
• Must be able to work with multiple departments in the compilation of data and the reporting of financial information.
• Knowledge of Alteryx was very helpful.
• Understanding of SQL queries.
