About this Job
Newton School is hiring for the role of Finance Executive!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Ensure collections and payables are on time. Maintain excel trackers and automate processes
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns and labour related returns on monthly basis
- Assist with closing and reporting of the books
- Coordinate with functional leads and assist with investor MIS on monthly basis
- Prepare bank CSVs and upload payments in the bank portal
- Prepare reconciliation for commission received (sales) on monthly basis
- Prepare credit card reconciliations on monthly basis
- Collaborate with multiple functions across the company
Requirements:
- B.com/M.com Semi qualified CA with 1-2 years of experience
- Strong communication skills, knows how to multitask
- Hands on with MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets
- Must have had experience in tax and labour related filings
- Are curious, analytical, have a knack to solve problems, and can figure a way out despite ambiguity
- Can persevere your way through to get things done, someone who can think on their feet when faced with an obstacle
