Finance Associate Job in Pune at AVPN (Asian Venture Philanthropy Network)

AVPN is hiring for the role of Finance Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Be responsible for generating accurate and timely invoices for clients, ensuring alignment with contracts and agreements.
• Keep Salesforce updated with all receipt information, ensuring that all financial data is accurately captured and current.
• Enter revenue data into financial accounting systems with precision, ensuring that all entries are accurate and reflect actual transactions.
• Conduct regular reconciliations between Salesforce and financial accounting systems to ensure consistency and accuracy in data across both platforms.
• Perform bank reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled.
• Perform any other activity that is assigned to this role by the finance manager.
• Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required by the finance team.

Requirements: 

• Minimum graduate in Accounting or related disciplines
• 1-3 years experience in Accounting (partial or full sets accounts)
• Proficient with Excel
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to take initiative
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Tally and Salesforce (added advantage)
• Interest in working in the social sector
