Finance Analyst Internship in Chennai at Ford India

Ford India is hiring for the role of Finance Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Wind down manual accounting and reporting functions, leveraging Alteryx analytics software.
• Support the testing and launch of SAP-RAR for North American and European markets.
• Manage corporate revenue reporting requirements:
  • Support monthly revenue reporting for key stakeholders, including creating and distributing management reporting, reconciliation metrics, and financial statement footnotes.
  • Engage with business partners (Corporate Accounting, Finance, GDI&A, and Business Operations) to document and understand reporting requirements.
  • Engage IT partners in the development and testing of new reporting requests.
• Support general ledger activities:
  • Prepare and submit journal entries relating to services deferred revenue activities.
  • Prepare & submit sub-ledger activity and balances relating to services deferred revenue activities.
  • Develop and implement robust reporting control processes for Deferred.
• Revenue Reporting:
  • Create monthly and quarterly control checks to monitor the performance of SAP deferred revenue reporting.

Requirements:

• Accounting degree - Masters, CA, CWA (inter or qualified)
• Strong technical accounting background
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and advance multiple concurrent assignments
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally
• Experience with large data set reporting and workflow automation tools such as Alteryx, Qliksense, and Google Cloud
