Finance & Accounting Specialist Job in Mumbai at Samespace India Private Ltd

Samespace is hiring for the role of Finance & Accounting Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare and post various accounting entries on our ERP system
• Ensure timely payment of bills & contracts and filing returns of statutory taxes
• Review and issue customer invoices, and address any customer inquiries related to billing matters of the product
• Ensure an accurate billing process, and record revenue, and collections. and actively work towards reducing outstanding receivables
• Manage foreign transactions and work closely with transfer pricing consultants
• Manage payroll functions, including EPF
• Actively engage in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliation
• Provide support to the team on ad hoc tasks that may be assigned

Requirements:

• 2- 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance preferably with an International firm.
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of consolidation, intercompany transactions, and compliance within US GAAP accounting standards.
• Proficiency in working with Tally Prime and Google Suite applications.
