Field Production Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL)

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is hiring for the role of Field Production Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct proper shift hand over and take over, and follow up on the ongoing jobs.
• Monitor plant and equipment continuously in the assigned area and inform deviations to the Panel Engineer for corrective actions.
• Ensure zero oil and chemical spills and ensure necessary secondary containments.
• Record the parameters in the log sheets and take corrective actions, if operating parameters are outside the operating envelope, in consultation with the Panel Engineer.
• Release equipment for maintenance timely, prepare equipment to ensure safe working conditions, comply with PTW, participate in toolbox talks, and ensure continuous monitoring of LEL/O2 during hot/confined space jobs.
• Communicate with the Panel Engineer/Shift Engineer about field abnormalities.
• Ensure correct chemical injection and optimize resources.
• Close permits timely and ensure equipment availability after maintenance.
• Complete checklists assigned timely.
• Assist Panel Engineer/Shift Engineer/Shift Manager in troubleshooting.
• Participate in mock drills and attend debriefing sessions.
• Ensure housekeeping of the designated/allocated area.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
• Specific Experience: 2 years for Engineering Graduates in the Operations field
• Operation of the pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pressure vessels, Tank farm and loading & unloading operations
• COW/PTW  system awareness and implementation
• Equipment changeover as per the SOP /Work Instruction and identifying the abnormalities
• Through knowledge of the Process systems and unit operations
• Basic knowledge of filed process instruments
• OMS awareness and implementation of relevant/critical sub-elements in the field operations
