Fiber Splicer Job in Delhi at ADN Broadband

Key Responsibilities:

• Splice and terminate fiber optic cables using fusion splicing and mechanical splicing techniques.
• Conduct proper fiber preparation, cleaning, and cleaving to ensure optimal splicing results.
• Test and verify splice loss and optical continuity to meet performance standards.
• Install, repair, and maintain fiber optic cables and related equipment according to project requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults, signal degradation, and connectivity issues in fiber optic networks.
• Maintain accurate records of fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing activities.
• Document splice locations, fiber routes, and any changes made to the fiber optic infrastructure.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of fiber optic connections and installations.
• Perform tests, measurements, and inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the team, project managers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Familiarity with fiber optic equipment, testing procedures, and industry standards.
• Proficient in fiber optic splicing techniques, fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and optical testing.
• Knowledge of fiber optic connectors, enclosures, and related hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose fiber optic network issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with fiber optic splicing.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information and updates.
