Amdocs is hiring for the role of Fiber Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform all aspects of OSP engineering for fiber projects in accordance with requirements and guidelines
• Design and draft fiber networks using optimal routing through feasibility analysis
• Work within customer systems to produce cost-effective engineering designs for construction teams
• Produce high-quality deliverables to minimize the need for multiple quality checks
• Timely raise queries and concerns related to the project
• Ensure timely availability and support for delivering client submittals to meet On-Time Performance (OTP) and quality standards
• Plan fiber/copper cable placement on poles and underground according to construction requirements
• Accept and apply constructive feedback from QCs/Leads to improve efficiency and quality
• Remain flexible to work in any team or project as per requirements
• Complete tasks within given timelines and adapt to changing priorities quickly
• Proactively think of new working methods, including automation and process optimization
• Willingly take on new roles and responsibilities as assigned by managers based on business needs
• Stay attentive in training and feedback sessions, and be able to recall and explain information when asked by leads or trainers

Requirements:

• 1 - 4 years of experience in Fiber network design engineering in ASE, F2, Green Field/DFIB, F1/F3 scope of work.
• Preferred experience with AT&T and added advantage if experience of LUMEN, Google Fiber etc.
• Experience working tools: Aramis, AutoCad, IQGEO, Any GIS tool, Waldo, Osmose O-calc.
