FEA Engineer Job in Bangalore at Celeros

Celeros is hiring for the role of FEA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work under the guidance of senior engineering staff, including the Chief Engineer and Lead Engineers, to undertake a variety of mechanical engineering design tasks.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) for various design aspects, including baseplate, pressure boundary, and pipework design analysis across different pump types.
• Create 3D models compatible with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) from CAD drawings or files.
• Develop and perform CFD analysis for new product designs, incremental changes, or maintenance projects.
• Prepare and present deliverables such as figures, tables, presentations, and written reports to clients.
• Analyze computational research findings related to product performance and evaluate performance test results alongside CFD analysis.
• Conduct pump performance analysis, NPSH analysis, and pressure drop evaluations in valves.
• Assist the team in achieving project deadlines while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Help standardize products, processes, tools, and calculations to reduce time and risk.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of related professional experience using Ansys Workbench.
• Proficiency in 3D CAE tools, including SolidWorks, Ansys Workbench Mechanical, and Ansys SpaceClaim.
• Demonstrated expertise in finite element analysis and modal analysis for both single components and assemblies, with a strong preference for experience using Ansys Workbench.
• Ability to interpret engineering documents, including integrity and lifting criteria, design concepts, and safety protocols.
• Understanding of turbulence models, steady-state and transient models, and the principles of cavitation and multi-physics.
• Experience in CFD simulation software, including ANSYS (CFX & Fluent), with skills in modeling, mesh generation, and validation of simulations against measurements.
• Familiarity with system-level hydraulics, heat transfer, thermal simulations, and fluid dynamics.
• Strong teamwork abilities, with a collaborative and flexible approach to mentoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; technical writing experience is preferred but not required.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills, with a focus on setting and achieving team deadlines.
• Proactive interest in self-development and advancements in mechanical technology and engineering.
