Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage fabrication projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop fabrication processes and methodologies that optimize production efficiency, minimize costs, and meet quality requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate fabrication equipment and tools, ensuring their proper functioning, maintenance, and calibration.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the fabrication process, including inspection, testing, and documentation, to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Monitor project costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and recommend improvements in material utilization, fabrication techniques, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production personnel, and suppliers, to address fabrication-related issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including fabrication records, reports, and technical specifications, to track project progress, evaluate performance, and support future reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in fabrication processes, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, equipment, and materials, such as welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and composite materials.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve fabrication issues.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
