Expected Credit Loss Controller Job in Pune at UBS

UBS is hiring for the role of Expected Credit Loss Controller!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assisting in the production, review, and analysis of expected credit loss as per IFRS 9.
• Designing and executing controls supporting the critical Regulatory Reports.
• Executing report pre-submission checks, implementing control procedures, and reviewing regulatory reporting requirements.
• Executing and reviewing key reporting controls (variance analysis, reconciliations, etc.)
• Bringing in process efficiencies/improvements/data quality projects to strengthen controls and reduce manual adjustments.
• Assessing impact due to policy changes, and new business initiatives and propose refinements to the control framework.
• Preparing due diligence review decks and collaborating with senior stakeholders across different business divisions with a focus on optimizing scarce resources for the Bank.

Requirements:

• A university degree with a strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably a CA qualification or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute)
• Minimum 4 years' experience in the financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury)
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting production, review, and submission and a strong understanding of Capital Markets and Financial instruments
• Sound experience in data analysis, validation, and presentation of results (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
• Ability to collaborate and establish effective and trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders
• Exhibit a Strong commitment to developing, maintaining, and abiding by a strong control framework
• A strong communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• A strong team player able to handle multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities
