DP World is hiring for the role of Executive- Terminal Operation!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of fertilizer inventory levels, including incoming shipments, outgoing orders, and stock counts.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses due to spoilage, theft, or mismanagement.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fertilizer products and resolve any discrepancies in shipments.
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including inventory clerks, and laborers, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the handling, storage, and distribution of fertilizer products.
  • Monitor warehouse activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections of fertilizer products to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent contamination, cross-contamination, or deterioration of stored inventory.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any product quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for warehouse staff on proper handling techniques and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA standards and environmental regulations, about fertilizer storage and handling.
• Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals and objectives for team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback for development.
  • Resolve conflicts or issues within the team in a timely and effective manner, promoting a positive work environment.
