Executive - Revenue Accounting Job in Pune at IndiGo

IndiGo is hiring for the role of Executive - Revenue Accounting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensuring that Sales from Navitaire are reconciled on a daily basis, cash is counted and tallied, and deposited on the next working day.
• Ensuring that the inflight sales information is collected from the crew, entered in the designated portal, and all the sales - cash, and credit card are tallied. If there are any differences, they need to be cleared then and there, and if not possible at the earliest.
• Ensuring that all Airport-related bills are received on time, checked, and forwarded to HO. After getting them approved by the Airport Manager. Similarly, all Ground Handling expenses are checked and passed on for payments.
• Ensuring that payments are received properly and on time and are deposited with the concerned authorities before the due date.
• Following up with H.O. for payments if they are not forthcoming. At any time, the company should not lose any discounts/incentives. To ensure that penalties are not levied for any delayed payment.
• Ensuring that cash is always reconciled, and no unauthorized payments are made without specific approval from H.O.
• Having good relations and communications with all officials and concerned departments.
• Assisting in audit - both internal and external.
• Ensuring that all the activities relating to Inflight Forex sales are recorded, accounted for, and tallied on a daily basis, including stock-taking periodically. All discrepancies need to be taken with the base station / lead crew and reconciled immediately.
• Ensuring monthly reconciliation is prepared and reported on time.
