Reliance Industries is hiring for the role of  Executive Regional Sales Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Consolidate, finalize, and monitor the Sales Plan and Actuals for the Territory on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Generate orders daily by following up with customers and channel partners.
  • Monitor actual customer off-take vs. plan (Sales Plan, MOU, and Annual Budget).
  • Take corrective measures in case of deviations from the plan.
  • Communicate with customers and channel partners on production schedules, material availability, price changes, MOU schemes, and signing.
  • Provide feedback to customers on dispatches, order status, and stock transfer movement to regional depots.
  • Develop a movement plan by grade/site to depots and periodically monitor Physical Stock, Stock in transit, and STOs to avoid stockouts.
  • Monitor aging and disposal of stocks.
  • Plan customer coverage category-wise and frequency, with physical visits followed by online submission of visit reports in the CRM module.
  • Track exceptions in RPOC and ensure closure within stipulated norms.
  • Update customer profiles.
  • Collect samples of finished products and raw materials to enhance service levels to customers.
  • Provide support to new customers in terms of handholding, master creation, grade selection, DCA tie-up, technical know-how, etc.
  • Address customer complaints, acknowledge and provide feedback, and escalate and resolve issues.
  • Prepare the annual expense budget for the assigned territory.
  • Liaise with local associations and authorities.
  • Provide leads to other Reliance Group businesses.
  • Provide inputs for NSR improvements and pricing through constant interaction with customers and channel partners.
  • Maximize grades with higher NSR in the assigned geographical territory.
  • Assist in conducting CRMs, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, etc., aimed at generating additional business.
  • Provide regular inputs to the HO BD Team for arranging approvals, spec-ins, etc.
  • Track capacity additions and investments by customers and update.
  • Interact with trade channels and customers on open market prices, trends, and international offers, and provide periodic inputs to PHs and RM.
  • Keep track of co-producers business operations, product availability, and commercial policies and trade terms, and periodically update.

Requirements:

  • B. E. / B. Tech in Chemical / Polymer / Textile / Mechanical engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Possessing knowledge about the product is essential.
  • Understanding the end-use sectors is crucial.
  • Familiarity with various product technologies is necessary.
  • Knowing the customers and their preferences is a key skill.
  • Understanding the economics of competing products is important.
  • Knowledge of domestic logistics and taxation is required.
  • Proficiency in downstream processing is essential.
  • Efficient warehouse management is a crucial aspect.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders is necessary.
  • Planning and organizing tasks effectively is important.
  • Execution of tasks with precision is a valuable skill.
  • Familiarity with IT and software applications is beneficial for the role.
