KRA’s:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Language Translation Project Coordinator to manage end-to-end translation and localisation projects. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between clients, translators, and internal teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage multiple translation/localization projects simultaneously.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assign tasks to translators, proofreaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) based on domain expertise.
• Track project progress, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct initial quality checks on translated files before final review/proofreading.
• Collaborate with DTP (Desktop Publishing) and multimedia teams for design and voice-over integration when required.
• Identify and resolve potential risks or issues during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain and update project documentation, glossaries, and style guides.
• Support invoicing, budget tracking, and vendor coordination as needed.

Key Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of DTP processes and multimedia localization if preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with the Resource
• Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.

Experienced Required

• 2–4 years of experience in translation project coordination, localization, or related roles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred to have familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana, Jira).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of DTP processes and multimedia localization if preferred.
• Understanding of translation memory and terminology management systems.
