Otis Elevator India is hiring for the role of Executive NE Sales!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Generating inquiries and finalization of orders, Contract Management, Supporting sales and marketing functions, Forecasting, and target setting.
  • Meeting customers, architects, and consultants to assess their requirements, Developing and increasing customer database. 
  • Establishing product strategy for allotted territory or account depending on market trend. 
  • Identifying and maintaining rapport with key persons in major customer organizations, Keeping customers informed, updated, and equipped with product development and literature. 
  • Doing market surveys, knowing competitors, Generating and attending new inquiries, and preparing sales negotiation data sheets. 
  • Preparing and submitting model elevator proposals, Preparing and submitting tenders, attending pre-bid meetings, tender opening, and attending negotiation meetings. 
  • Following up on proposals and tenders, Negotiation and finalizing of orders, Processing of orders received.
  • Achieving 100% targets set for the year.
  • Ensuring customer visits as per guidelines for self and team.
  • Ensuring professionals are released in line with the expected market.
  • Liaoning with the Construction Dept. to have effective contract management.
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction is the bottom line of all activities and systems designed and implemented – a timely and mutually acceptable resolution to customer complaints.
  • Creating safety awareness amongst all customers.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is often preferred. Some positions may require a master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates, as well as a deep understanding of the products or services being sold.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly.
  • Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Strong motivational and coaching skills to inspire and develop the sales team.
