Patra is hiring for the role of Executive - HR Business Partner!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Provide HR policy communication, guidance, and interpretation and helps enforce.
  • Propagate & provide an interpretation of Patra's core values. Helps build & sustain the Patra culture based on the core values.
  • Manage and facilitate annual performance management process “PMS” and collaborates with Department Heads regarding performance management best practices and recommendations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of HR labor requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with the HR Shared Services Team “HRSS” on onboarding and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, and engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide guidance and input on business restructurings, workforce planning, and succession planning from a people perspective and employee point of view.
  • Help identify training needs for individuals and managers working closely with L&D
  • Manage customer service standards and stakeholders’ expectations
  • Stay abreast and maintains detailed knowledge of HR trends, technology, and methodologies
  • Use analytical and critical thinking in work processes and communication skills

Requirements:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, performance management, and Recruitment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
  • Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
  • Emotionally intelligent and able to build strong relationships and trust (both in person and virtually) with leaders and employees of diverse backgrounds and all levels.
  • Responsible and accountable with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • An exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear, concise, and courageous in giving tough but supportive feedback when needed.
  • Analytical decision maker and pragmatic problem solver who can find root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them while driving solutions.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • The ability to coach, influence, and partner with all levels of employees.
  • A strong knowledge of employment labor laws.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Develop and grow the business partner function within the People team.
