About this Job
UBS is hiring for the post of ETD Transaction Reporting & Controls Specialist!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Ensuring daily processes are completed in line with Standard Operating Procedures and checklists signed off in line with deadlines
- Understanding our client's needs and expectations
- Making sure the risk culture within UBS India is well-understood
- Working collaboratively across ETD Operations to enhance the delivery
- Developing staff within UBS India ETD Operations to increase their understanding of the product area
- Performing and monitoring the following day-to-day tasks: this will be specific to the hiring role (Client/Clearing/Position Lifecycle/ Rev Control / Data/Risk and Control
- Make sure key controls are adhered to for the team
- Providing support on regulatory change processes and controls
- Ensuring all regulatory submissions or reporting to the exchange are accurate and timely
- Supporting ad-hoc projects for exchange mandatory and business-driven initiatives
- Participating in daily huddles - review prior day/trends and upcoming work schedule
- Ensuring the impact on clients is understood throughout the process
Requirements:
- Experience in Banking Operations especially in ETD Operations
- Good understanding of operational risk, particularly in relation to the ETD Business
- Knowledge of transaction reporting regulations and process
- Great computer skills and willingness to learn new processes
- Excellent organizational and rigorous follow-up skills
- Integrity and discretion are key to help make sure sensitive information is handled with care great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels
- Able to continuously improve on processes/situations around you and quickly turn around deliverables
- Having a pragmatic "can do" attitude
- Able to challenge the status quo
- A team player
