Equity/ Portfolio Strategy Job in Pune at CRISIL

CRISIL is hiring for the position of Equity/ Portfolio Strategy!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze macro-economic and financial market indicators to advise portfolio managers and investors on strategic and tactical asset allocation and trading strategies
• Create new databases using data from different sources, and set up infrastructure for their maintenance; maintain databases going forward
• Clean and manipulate data, build models and produce automated reports using SAS/Python
• Undertake bespoke requests for data analysis, back testing and portfolio and risk analysis for clients
• Ideate on emerging market and economic trends and write publish ready commentaries
• Keep an eye on maintaining maximum efficiency in database maintenance, the regular report generation process and ad hoc research projects and requests

Requirements:

• Graduate/ PG in Engineering / Math / Statistics / Economics; MBA / CFA L1 is preferred
• A keen interest in financial markets and investing
• Exposure to macro analysis or research
• High degree of comfort with SAS. Some knowledge of Python preferred
• Candidate should be capable of manipulating large quantities of data
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Diligence and hard work
• Excellent analytical and functional skills in coding and use of databases
• Willingness to stretch and be proactive
• Understanding of company financial statements, accounting and risk analysis would be an added advantage
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with global clients
