Equity Analyst Job in Bangalore at GE Vernova

GE Vernova is hiring for the role of Equity Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of stock grants, including the creation, grant, and termination of awards in Workday and the stock plan platform in a global environment (which includes grants in 40+ countries).
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of stock plan communications, such as grant notifications, award agreements, statements, and employee education materials.
• Provide support and guidance to employees regarding their stock grants, including answering questions and assisting with stock plan account navigation.
• Collaborate with external vendors, such as brokers or transfer agents, to manage the transfer and administration of stock awards, including grant/vest process management and statement generation.
• Ensure accurate tax withholding on equity awards.
• Assist with Form 4 reporting.
• Assist in data preparation for Board of Directors approval.
• Act as a central resource for external partner support.
• Work with Legal to ensure proper operation of stock awards in a global environment.
• Perform various analytical work and costing to ensure grants are market-based in approach and efficient.
• Work with an external partner for mobile employee tax calculations.
• Partner with Finance/Accounting on stock compensation expense reporting.
• Assist with quarterly performance updates on outstanding PSUs.
• Manage stock award data integrity.
• Perform reporting and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• Have prior experience as an international/global stock/equity plan administrator or in a similar role, preferably within a global, publicly traded company.
• Be familiar with stock plan administration platforms.
• Possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex calculations and data.
• Be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Have experience with equity-based accounting and tax matters.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. CEP (preferred).
• Have a high level of IT literacy with advanced Excel skills.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, quantitative area of concentration, or other related field.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, total rewards, or other analytical or related discipline.
