CDM Smith is hiring for the role of Entry Marketing and Communications Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Writing and editing copy of basic complexity for a variety of channels, including website, social media, email, intranet site, events, and resumes.
• Frequently communicating with employees throughout the resume writing process, including answering any questions or following up on their resumes.
• Conducting interviews with employees to gather information about their work experience, education, skills, and other qualifications to create a tailored resume that best highlights their capabilities.
• Conducting research (Ex: market research, best practices, etc.) to assist in the development of communications materials.
• Review requests for proposals provided by clients to ensure the resume is tailored for the project role.
• Collaborating with technical experts and proposal writers to create effective resumes.
• Reviewing content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of related experience
• BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related degree
• BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related degree
• Previous experience working in an architectural, engineering, or construction firm
• A strong command of Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent command of grammar and spelling
