GE Renewable Energy is hiring for the job role of Applications Engineering Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Partner with senior team members to support the CORELLA initiative.
• Be proficient with web programming techniques, C#, VB.net, ASP.net, Javascript, HTML, XML & XSL, JQuery, .NET Core, MVC & Oops.
• Experience developing or supporting engineering design applications.
• Maintenance of existing applications, performing code reviews on the existing/developed artifacts.
• Verifying software functions as required and fixing issues as needed.
• Experience in planning and designing the application based on the given requirement specs.
• Documenting development work as specified in the Agile guidelines and business coding standards.
• Be part of the design review & provide inputs. ensure no gaps from design to code developed.
• Ensure 100% code quality and unit testing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience - 0 years.
• Prior working experience that demonstrates a strong ability to lead across various organizational levels.
• Ability to learn light scripting.
• Familiarity with change control processes, identity and access management principles, and server infrastructure.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new products quickly and comprehensively.
