Black & Veatch is hiring for the role of Engineering Technician Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Continuously learn and remain up to date with applicable standards, systems, document control requirements, departmental guidelines, and BV policies and procedures.
• Proactively apply knowledge of the BV Quality Program to ensure all deliverables are accurate, compliant, and meet required quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and personal accountability for accuracy in all assigned work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts within the team and organization.
• Utilize and expand the use of relevant applications and tools to evaluate, improve, and optimize methods, processes, and procedures.
• Create and develop project deliverables based on a range of design inputs and technical requirements.
• Perform basic engineering computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional verification checks.
• Assist in coordinating deliverables with cross-functional teams and project groups to minimize errors, rework, and schedule conflicts.
• Prioritize the needs of internal clients while developing a foundational understanding of external client objectives and drivers.
• Actively seek, share, and apply knowledge of emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
