Honeywell is hiring for the role of Engineering Manager - Airports Business

Responsibilities of the candidates:

• Experience in leading teams through the Hardware development life cycle – Electrical and Mechanical and Regulatory certifications.
• Requirements development, Design and Architecture for analog/digital circuits and analysis (Thermal, Power Integrity, PCB Stack up, Placement and Routing, Tolerance etc) and dealing with vendors and manufacturing.
• Experience and Knowledge in leading teams in design and development of embedded systems (bare-metal and Operating system based) , application development,  cyber security practices & hardware and software integration.
• Experience in safety critical systems development.
• Gets involved in Requirement reviews to ensure completeness of Deployment scenarios, Use cases & Testability aspects of Functional & Non-Functional requirements using his/her Domain, Product & Functional knowledge.
• Works with the System Architects to mitigate the architectural risks of the program in early phases & participates in design reviews to identify failure modes
• Maintains infrastructure for security, performance/scale, regression of products.
• Owns technology roadmap of Airports’ airside products of HBS business.
• Monitors release quality criteria and communicates unbiased product/system quality view to stakeholders and enables quality release of the product/system
• Mentors’ other members of the team on technical aspects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Electronics and
• Communication/Electrical engineering
• Must have handled at-least 2 large programs as Engineering leader
• Good understanding of systems and hardware platforms
• Should have worked in global product development environment.
• Must have good communication & negotiation skills.
• Must be good at Technical Leadership with an ability to quickly adapt to latest technology trends.
• Prior Knowledge of hardware design and embedded C, C++, Linux and
• Knowledge of hardware/Software quality and standards.
• Understanding of Airports airside domain (Nice to have)
