JLL is hiring for the role of Engineering Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Technical leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines and budget.
• Client collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical requirements and solutions.
• Project management: Oversee and monitor project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Team empowerment: Foster a culture of collaboration and enable team members to thrive by providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
• Innovation and optimization: Continuously identify and implement innovative ways of working and process improvements to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as Design, Construction, and Facilities Management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of technical activities.
• Industry knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology and apply them to enhance project delivery and technical capabilities.

Requirements:                        

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong technical expertise in building systems and related disciplines, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, and structural engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, including coordination and management of cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to empower and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Preferred qualifications:
• Professional registration or certification in Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience working in the commercial real estate industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building certifications.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Experience with design and construction technology solutions, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Familiarity with JLL's value proposition manifesto statements, ability to align with the company's culture, and embody JLL's brand.
