Vestas is hiring for the role of Engineer - WRA!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform wind and site statistical modeling and evaluation, including perseverance of wind resource and site characteristics.
• Develop wind turbine site layouts and optimize turbine configurations based on conformance with standards, power production, and construction considerations.
• Verify wind turbine design life by performing load calculations.
• Maintain sales and project processes involving technical and commercial responses to customers, consultants, and colleagues.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Master's / Bachelor's in Mechanical / Aerospace / similar engineering specialization.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in engineering with industry-if background in wind resource assessment- sales support.
• Fluent and clear in written and spoken English.
• Added advantage - Certification in different levels of foreign languages like Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience with industry-specific software applications such as WAsP and windPRO is highly desired.
• Have an interest in wind, terrain, aerodynamics, and loaded construction.
• Critical thinking mindset.
• Ability to work in a difficult situation and prioritize various tasks in a progressive / Deadline oriented environment.
• Good organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated flexibility working in a significant and changing organization.
• Work in a structured and systematic way and have consistent attention to detail, enabling you to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work under different time shifts.
• Exposure to different cultures across the Globe.
