LSEG is hiring for the role of Engineer - Windows!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Administer, monitor, support, prevent, maintain, and improve virtual and physical VMware & HP blade infrastructure.
- Provide support for projects as assigned.
- Participate in shift & weekend coverage and on-call duty as required.
- Analyze system and database performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve hardware issues.
- Perform proactive server maintenance and management.
- Minimize incident impact by assisting with emergencies.
- Present, analyze, and evaluate data effectively.
- Create specifications for new or modified systems.
- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for users and new technical staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field.
- Strong knowledge across network, database, and storage area network disciplines.
- Excellent investigation and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong listening and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
