Engineer - Sync & DCN Job in Manesar at Airtel

Airtel is hiring for the role of Engineer - Sync & DCN!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Provide 24/7 support for Sync & DCN incidents, resolving faults and managing service quality within strict SLAs.
• Coordinate with customers for outage restoration, ensuring swift resolutions and exceeding expectations.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of network technologies like Nokia, Cisco, Huawei, and Juniper, along with routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues involving L3 VPN, L2 VPLS, QoS, and more.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to find solutions and drive ownership.
• Generate daily MIS reports and ensure accurate data management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in core IP/CIENA network operations. Significant experience with large-scale and complex networks. 
• Must have very strong knowledge & working experience with complete Nokia (7750, 7705, and 7710), Cisco {ASR9K, 903, 920}, Huawei (CX600, ATN950B, ATN910C), Juniper (m320, MX960, mx2020) network product lines and technologies.
• In-depth understanding and Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, etc. 
• In-depth understanding and Hands-on experience with MPLS, EVPN, RSVP-TE. Troubleshooting on complex MP-BGP services.
• Good working knowledge of QOS/HQOS, HSRP/VRRP, VLANs, Rapid Spanning Tree, Ether-Channel) VPN L2 & L3 solutions. 
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex L3 VPN services, and L2 VPLS domain. 
• Good communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Expertise in QOS design and configuration is a plus.
• In-depth understanding & knowledge of various switching protocols. eg. STP, PVSTP, MSTP, LLDP etc. 
• Hands-on experience in handling tools like BMC Remedy, ECRM, Netcool, IPPMS, EPNM, etc.
