Emerson is hiring for the position of Engineer - Sustenance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute all order engineering deliverables (Technical order review, Bill of material, Customer drawings, ECN) and improve performance area (First pass yield, schedule adherence and lead time)                   
• Understand design concepts, develop and detail final design for ETO orders                             
• Execute manufacturing validation testing, Supplier in consultation with global engineering teams & local operation teams including technology transfers, supply changes etc                   
• Understand the needs and carryout the requirements of QMS processes and support certification programs for butterfly valves                                 
• Support for trouble, shoot any production issues along with quality using Root-Cause Countermeasures (RCCM) and provide technical solution                          
• Works with Quality to understand root cause for NCR and provides disposition     
• Builds relationship across functions, locations & global teams to gain information/knowledge and shares with team  

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Engineering
• Strong technical expertise related to the products or systems that the engineer will be supporting. This could include knowledge of automation, control systems, sensors, instrumentation, or other relevant technologies
• The ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to ensure the continued operation and improvement of products or systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for documenting engineering changes, communicating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical support
