Engineer: Steam Turbine Auxiliary System Design Job in Noida at GE Vernova

GE Vernova is hiring for the role of Engineer: Steam Turbine Auxiliary System Design!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Designing the Turbine Auxiliaries Systems (e.g. lube oil system, control oil system, sealing steam system, drain system) and ensuring its safe design by participating in functional safety studies
• Issuing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, System description, electrical load list, piping interface list, and BOQs
• Creating technical specifications for equipment purchase and technical follow-up with suppliers, from the request for quotation phase to the commissioning phase on-site.
• Accessory Equipment Arrangement:
  • Determination of the location and orientation for the lube oil tank, - cooler & - purifier, gland steam condenser, and generator accessories equipment, like seal oil, gas cooling, and stator cooling units. 
• Piping design for gland steam (MAW) and internal turbine drains (MAL), lubrication (MAV), and hydraulic (MAX) oil, as well as seal oil (MKW) and generator cooling system (MKA & MKG).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Basic understanding of steam turbine design and power plant.
• Basic understanding of Steam turbine auxiliaries and process design
• Strong technical and scientific know-how and willingness to continuously extend and develop it
• Ability to travel extensively in support of assignments
• Proficiency in Steam turbine generator auxiliaries operation
• Tendering & Project execution experience 
• Advanced degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering
• Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and responsive skills
• Customer focused
