Schwing Stetter is hiring for the role of Engineer Production!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for the manufacturing process of multiple models of the Batching plant.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings on the shop floor at the beginning of the shift and discuss with workmen about the perennial issues related to product quality, Site feedback,  5s adherence & unsafe acts to create awareness among them and ensure progress.
• Ensure adherence to the production schedule.
• Ensure material/machine availability in the production line to produce planned targets by close coordination with inter-departments.
• Ensure man & machine utilization effectively.
• Update documents supporting MIS records.
• Monitor production progress and troubleshooting as and when required to achieve the planned target.
• Responsible for skill development of workmen by giving on-the-job training.
• Ensure the adherence of dispatch meeting commitments.
• Work order operational confirmation & FG posting on SAP.
• Raise line rejection reports for the defective/damaged parts and ensure material availability to the production line.
• Ensure shop floor housekeeping & workmen's safety at the highest level of industrial practice.
• Responsible for raising ECR if any constraint in the assembly process and implementation of ECN.
• Responsible for implementing the corrective action for customer complaints.
• Responsible for a reduction in snag report of functional inspection & Pre-Dispatch Inspection.
• Develop, implement and maintain systems, and procedures for the betterment of manufacturing process and interdepartmental communications/coordination.
• Maintain ISO & OHSAS documents and records and keep them up to date.
• Display welding procedure standards (WPS) on the shop floor at respective workstations monitor the welders for WPS adherence and also coordinate with the welding department for the periodic welder qualification requirements.
• Impart education & training on new system development and the importance of adherence to team members.
• Ensure tools & machinery are up kept.
• Responsible for Process Improvement & Cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Must have strong knowledge in reading & interpretation of engineering drawings and standards.
• Must have a fair knowledge of assembly procedures and resolving problems at the site.
• Fair knowledge of personal computer software skills.
• Good interpersonal relationships for effective manpower handling.
• Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills/
• 3 to 11 Years of experience.
• B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production Engineering) or Diploma (Mechanical).
